MISSOULA, MONTANA
Friday, October 17th, 2008, 7:30 pm, School of Music Recital Hall, University of Montana.
Perri joined the faculty and friends of the School of Music for a piano extravaganza: Pianissimo! a fundraiser to support the maintenance
of the school's pianos. More than a dozen pianists took to the stage to play crowd pleasers in two to
twelve-hand
combinations. Perri read from GRAND OBSESSION in between numbers. This was an
outrageously fun event, and the organizers hope it is just the first of an annual tradition.

Friday, June 20, Piano Technician's Guild Annual Convention & Technical Institute, Anaheim.
Perri met with technicians and industry gurus and signed copies of GRAND OBSESSION at the PTG Writer's Booth in the convention's exhibit hall.
She made many wonderful new friends and renewed old acquaintances. Many thanks to the PTG for the invitation to participate at the national convention!
SPOKANE, WASHINGTON

Regionally renowned piano technician and jazz bassist Tom Kuntz and internationally acclaimed pianist and Eastern Washington University
piano professor Dr. Jody Graves, both characters in GRAND OBSESSION, joined Perri for an evening of
live music and discussion, followed by a piano party.
Perri read, Tom improvised on the string bass with celebrated composer-pianist
Casey Wilkinson, and Jody played works by Liszt, Rachmaninoff, and Gershwin. Tom put the "Schubert Concert Tuning" on a new Steinway model A so that
the audience could experience the sound Perri described in GRAND OBSESSION. The party and book signing afterward were lively
and filled with music as everyone tried out the wonderful pianos in the showroom. Many thanks to Tom, Jody, Casey, and the Steinway Piano Gallery for
a memorable evening.
